Language is a means of communication. An international language is a language that is spoken and used all over the world. For various reasons, English has gained the status of being an international language. Because of globalization, the use of English is increasing more and more. Today, there is hardly any country in the world where English is not used. Now English is the language of global news and information. It is the language of business, science, technology, and diplomacy. So, to keep pace with the modern world, it is necessary to learn English. It is natural that without a good command of English none can expect a good job today. If we do not learn English we will be detached from the global community. We will be deprived of many opportunities that the modern world offers us.

I have a special fascination for English. I want to master all the four skills of this language. I think every student should try like me. Our English textbook helps us in learning many rules of this language. To learn this language, we must have some motivation and positive feelings for this language. As this language will give us a good life we have to learn it. Our teachers also feel comfortable teaching us only when we are enthusiastic to learn. Considering the importance of English we must emphasize to learning English.

The language which is used widely for international purposes is called an international language. If we want to communicate with the other countries of the world, English is badly necessary. For this, English is called an international language. So the importance and necessity of learning English is great. No one can dream of a good job without knowing English. In higher education, it is the key. So without learning this language we cannot be able to keep pace with the present world. We shall lag behind. That is why learning English is necessary for us, learning English with the help of grammar is an interesting system.

Grammar is the base of a language. To get skilled in a language, the knowledge of grammar is extremely required. It is the prime and basic need. But the modern communicative system of learning English is also very effective. This system has been used in our textbook. To have a good command of English, all the basic needed reading, writing, speaking, listening and understanding are equally needed. It is a kind of automatic practice through conversation with one another without caring about the rules of grammar. This is the demand of the age. I find it quite fruitful to learn the language correctly and effectively. But at the same time, grammatical knowledge is also required to have an influential command over the language.

NECESSITY OF LEARNING ENGLISH


English is an international language. No nation can do without English today. At present, English is very important to keep peace with advanced and developed countries. We should learn English because we can not expect to have a good job without it. A foreign office can not function without English knowing people. A pilot or a stewardess, a telephone operator, or a tourist guide also must know English. We do not find it easy to live abroad unless we know English. Furthermore, without knowing English, we cannot enter directly into the storehouse of knowledge. Thus the necessity of English can not be ignored anyway. But unfortunately, in Bangladesh, English does not get its due position. As a result, Bangladesh has remained backward in education and research as well as in other spheres of life. So, we should take all the necessary steps to have a good command of English. Then we will be able to face the challenges of the modern world and to lead the nation in the international.
